Webster Technique

The Webster Technique was developed by Dr. Larry Webster, the founder of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA).
As described by the ICPA, the Webster Technique is:
"A specific chiropractic analysis and diversified adjustment", with the goal of reducing the effects of sacral subluxation and sacroiliac joint dysfunction. Sacral subluxation may contribute to labour complications by contributing to pelvic misalignment, tightening and torsion of pelvic muscles and ligaments, and creating uterine nerve interference. These effects may prevent baby from assuming an optimal position for vaginal delivery. By removing sacral subluxation with the Webster Technique, neuro-biomechanical function of the pelvis is improved, and many causes of labour difficulty (dystocia) are alleviated. We are pleased to tell you that Dr. Chelsea is certified in the Webster Technique.
